VERWOOD CARNIVAL 2023

What a great day at Potterne Park. See below for some of the pictures capturing this community event enjoyed by all on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2023. The weather was excellent, the parade fantastic, the entertainment in the arena amazing, as well as the fun fair.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Carnival day a success, both those involved in the organisation and everyone who supported us on the day.

Thanks to all who contributed to the excellent carnival procession including the Dolphin Marching Band, Samba Panache Performance, and the floats from Verwood Guides, Verwood Hillside First School, Verwood Pantomine Society and to the providers of the transport for these fantastic floats.

The arena main event was Jamie Squibb and his Freestyle Motorcycle Display Team performing breathtaking jumps and stunts mid-air in front of the crowd's eyes

We also had; Mr Merlin with Oakey Dokey The Dragon; Liberty's Owl, Raptor and Reptile centre display; The Magical Musical Bike; Mr Pops Baloons, and thanks to the Carnival Bar Marquee, managed by The Mortgage Place and their accompanying support band Fayrewood.
